Hi! I’m Laura, the proud owner of Sketchy Kids. I'm an Australian mum of two, a lover of creativity, and someone who truly gets the chaos that comes with raising little humans.

Sketchy Kids was born from one of those parenting moments - you know the ones. I was at a café trying to enjoy a peaceful lunch, when my kids decided to bounce off the walls. Things escalated quickly, ending with a 1-meter high shelf crashing down and a clock breaking. There were tears (mine!), but also a lightbulb moment: what if there was a fun, creative way to keep kids entertained without handing over a screen?

That’s when the idea for our reusable silicone colouring - in book came to life.

Our mission is to inspire creativity and connection through fun, screen-free activities that let kids be kids. We believe in encouraging self-expression, supporting parents, and bringing a little joy into everyday life - whether you’re out and about or just looking for a mindful moment at home. It’s not about ditching screens completely, but finding a better balance.

Every Sketchy Kids product is designed with heart, packed with love, and created to make your life a little easier (and a lot more fun). I’m so grateful to share this journey with you!
